HOUSE RULES
-- Check-in --
Gîtes are available from 3:00 pm. Please inform us in case of a late arrival so that we can organize your welcome accordingly.
-- Check-out --
Gîtes must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure. Trash must be taken to the designated collection point. Dishes should be washed, dried, and put away as you found them. The gîte may be inspected before the client’s departure.
-- Pets --
Pets are not allowed at Le Scahouët. If a guest does not comply with this rule, the refusal to accept the pet(s) and their owner(s) cannot be considered a modification or termination of the contract initiated by the owners; therefore, no refund can be issued in such cases.
-- Respect for the property --
Areas not presented to guests or private parts of the property are not at guests’ free disposal.
Guests are asked to respect the condition of the gîtes and common areas (pool, pétanque court, terraces…).
The bedrooms are strictly non-smoking. Please collect cigarette butts and ashes. Sorting of waste is required; separate glass bottles and cans. Turn off fans when leaving the gîte for an extended period.
-- Children --
Due to the layout of the property, children remain under the responsibility of the adult renters and must stay within the gîte’s dedicated perimeter. The same applies to the pool.
-- Lifestyle / Conduct --
Guests are expected to follow a certain code of conduct to ensure the comfort and tranquility of the property.
Playing or producing music of any kind is strictly prohibited throughout the property.
Guests are required to leave the gîte in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to report and financially cover any damage for which they may be responsible (broken dishes, unusually damaged furniture, damaged spa…).
Parties and events likely to cause disturbances are strictly forbidden.
-- Personal belongings --
Le Scahouët cannot be held responsible for theft, loss, or damage of guests’ personal belongings. Each gîte is equipped with a key to secure the bedrooms.
Forgotten items can be returned to the guest upon request and at their expense, or stored for up to one year.
Only guests staying at Le Scahouët are allowed to enter the property and use the common areas.
-- Non-compliance
Without the client being entitled to any compensation, Le Scahouët reserves the right to terminate immediately the stay of any person who does not comply with the house rules or the present terms and conditions.
-- Access and correction rights
In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, guests have the right to access and correct their personal information. Le Scahouët undertakes not to share clients’ information with other companies or organizations.
